Our acoustic ep “roots” is released! If you like what you hear, please buy the album! All funds raised will go to studio costs!
We have some news for you!
- We’ll be in the studio on August 16, 2014. We cannot wait to finally start recording! It’s been a long time coming. We’ll be working with Steve from Audio Valley recording studios. He helped us record the last album, “A Story Of…”.
- To help raise funds for the full length, Jon and I (Greg) will be recording and releasing an acoustic EP. We’ll be charging $5 (or you can donate more if you want), and it will be on sale on bandcamp. Physical copies will not be available since we want to cut costs.
What you may not know, is that ‘I Spell It Nature’ started as an acoustic project. Jon and I sent each other mp3s via MSN messenger (yes, that thing), and we’d record songs. We “released” two albums to our friends and family. Those albums are gone, never to be found again!
For this acoustic EP, Jon and I will be recording acoustic versions of older songs and newer ones. We’ll keep you posted when it’s released! All of the money from the EP will go directly into funding the new album (studio time, artwork, printing etc).
That’s it for now. Thanks again to all of you for your support. We can’t say that enough!
I Spell It Nature
That time we released an album 3 years ago. New full length: 2014. Get ready.
It’s been 3 long years since we released our last record - but we’re finally ready to do it all over again. We plan to hit the studio in a few months, and release after that. Thanks to everyone for their patience and all of the support. We would be nothing without you!
Here’s a short teaser video for the album. We’ll be releasing another video come studio time.
Thanks again and enjoy!

We are very happy to announce our partnership with Friend of Mine Records Distribution in Japan.
I just wanted to let everyone know that digital and physical copies of our first full length, “A Story Of…”, can be purchased at the links below! T-shirts can be purchased at the bigcartel site as well.
I would just like to thank each and everyone of you for the support you have shown. We could not have done it without you.
When Jon and I first started this band, we were two dudes with two acoustic guitars and a computer mic. It’s somewhat embarassing when Nick from Moving Mountains asks what band you’re in and you have to explain that you’re just messing around with computer mics.
A few years later, he’s helping us with artwork! Who would’ve known?
We’re so happy the way things worked out (bringing in Korby and Andrew to complete the band) so far, and can’t wait to write new music for everyone, and to play some more shows.
At the end of the day, we just want you to listen to our music. If you want to download it for free off some site, please, do it. All that we ask is if you liked it, please join the Facebook group or tell a friend about us.
And hey…if you decide that you like us so much, that you want to buy a t-shirt too, then cool!
ANYWAYS, this has been long enough. Thanks again to everyone for sticking by us.
Lots of love,
Greg and I Spell It Nature
